Is there anything better than a rite-of-passage story set in the '60s (but made in the '80s) and paired with a mostly golden oldies soundtrack that involves lots of excellent dance montages? No. No there is not. Frances "Baby" Houseman (Jennifer Grey) is a teenager on vacation with her family in the Catskills. A sweet and smart girl from a privileged family, she’s already got her whole life mapped out in advance. That's until she lays eyes upon the resort's hunky dance instructor Johnny (Patrick Swayze) and the two begin engaging in extracurricular activity.
Because even if you’ve seen this film before, whether once, twice or fifteen times, there’s nothing quite like catching it on our golden screen with an enraptured audience. Revisit this timeless romance and decide, once and for all, what’s better — the film or the soundtrack? Of course, it's a tough call because they’ll both give you the time of your life (and you’ve never felt that way before) ... and we swear ... it’s the tru-u-u-th and we owe it all to you ... look, just book your tickets already.
