There’s something strange going on in the boroughs of New York City. Ghoulish gunk is exploding left and right. Paranormal activity is surely afoot. Luckily, there’s a team of ectoplasm extermination experts who you can call, known as the “Ghostbusters”. The crack team of vigilantes (Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson) are run off their feet ridding the city of gruesome characters, but their toughest assignment yet comes when they’re called to investigate a client’s haunted apartment building. Turns out that particular building has been designed as a portal to summon a shape-shifting god of destruction called Gozer. It's up to the Ghostbusters to save New York from Gozer's wrath – and certain doom.
