The Ghostbusters face a paranormal climate crisis in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. The Spengler family return to where it all started – the iconic New York City firehouse – to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who are taking their bustin’ to the next level with a new-and-improved top-secret research lab. When the discovery of an ancient artefact unleashes an ice-cold evil force called ‘The Death Chill’ on the city, Ghostbusters new and old must band together to save the world from a second Ice Age.

This is the coolest film to see with the whole family during the school holidays. The cast of next-generation Ghostbusters (Carrie Coon, Paul Rudd, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace) brings a spirited energy to this new iteration of the classic spooky sci-fi comedy. Fans of the ’80s films will love seeing many of the original cast members back in the beige jumpsuits – Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson and Annie Potts – as well as some of the most memorable ghouls from the first film including Slimer, The Librarian and Stay Puft (a lot smaller this time around). Look out for funny guys Kumail Nanjiani and James Acaster in this one too.
