Ten years from now, a highly contagious, deadly virus decimates almost all of the world’s living creatures. Facing a total extinction event, a brilliant geneticist named Dr Jonathan Figg discovers a miracle vaccine that’s fast-tracked into production and saves the final remnants of humanity. Unfortunately there’s one terrible side effect – the vaccine completely erases all memory of surfing from the human mind. The world’s best surfers stumble blindly into new lives and careers, totally oblivious to the talents they once possessed. In a last-ditch effort to save wave riding from extinction, surf god Huey scours the globe for the one man capable of bringing surfing back from the dead – three-time world champion surfer Mick Fanning.
