This original Disney musical-comedy follows Asha (voiced by Ariana DeBose, Academy Award-winner for West Side Story), a sharp-witted idealist who lives in the magical kingdom of Rosas. Asha senses a darkness in the ruler of Rosas, King Magnifico (Chris Pine), that no one else seems to see. One night, she makes a wish so powerful that it’s answered by a cosmic force – an adorable ball of boundless energy called Star. Asha and Star must work together to save the Rosas community, and prove that when the will of one courageous person connects with the magic of the stars, wondrous things can happen.

After families flocked to this film at Lorne Theatre over the summer, we're bringing it back this Easter school holidays in a special sing-along screening. You likely haven't been able to get the songs out of your head since summer anyway, especially King Magnifico's catchy bop ‘This is the Thanks I Get’. Come along and follow the bouncing ball (or star?).
